Overview

Lobuche Peak is one of the famous climbing peaks in the Everest region.

It offers a rewarding experience of peak climb since the difficulty level of Lobuche peak is a bit more challenging than other popular climbing peaks in the Everest region. Additional to this, it also offers a spectacular view of High Himalayan ranges of Khumbu valley including Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Makalu along with Nuptse, Pumori and many more.

Located close to Khumbu glacier in the region, Lobuche peak is the main attraction for climbing due to its unmatching spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. There are two distinct peaks, Lobuche East and Lobuche West. Although they are associated by a continuous ridge, there is a sharp gap and a much distance between two peaks. Lobuche Peak East is quite prominent and is reached by downward into a marked cut off and climbing steep snow/ice slopes to the top.

This seventeen days trip combines excellent trek to Everest Base Camp, passing through several beautiful Sherpa villages and stopping at a famous viewpoint of Kalapatthar. The people and their hospitality coupled with amazing high valleys, old monasteries, glaciers and mesmerizing views of gigantic mountains are just a few things that you will remember for the lifetime.

Demanding than any other peak climbing, you are required to hike carrying over 15 kgs backpack for 6-7 hours each day during the trip. You will require to prepare yourselves physically and mentally before setting on the trip.
